An experienced FCIPS Procurement and Sustainability leader with 30 years of experience implementing category strategies and driving cost savings across the manufacturing, facilities management and engineering sectors.
Alison is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (FCIPS) and a member of the Chartered Institute of Workplace and Facilities Management (CIWFM) and IWFM Impact Awards Judge. She has extensive experience in developing and implementing procurement strategies that align with business requirements across a broad range of industry sectors.
Alison provides Strategic Procurement Services designed to support organisations that may not have access to a fully established senior procurement function by providing the structure, assurance, and expertise typically found within larger organisations.
Alison provides strategic leadership, insight, and decision-making support while strengthening governance and ensuring alignment with organisational objectives. She works with clients to design and implement robust procurement processes and policies, creating clear, compliant, and efficient frameworks with defined roles and accountability. In addition, Alison supports the optimisation of procurement systems and digital tools to enhance workflow efficiency, transparency, and audit readiness. She also establishes structured supplier onboarding and compliance approaches, ensuring that organisations have visibility of supplier financial stability, health and safety standards, and sustainability performance.
As a former Chair of the Facilities Management Supply Chain Sustainability School, Alison has played a key role in advancing sustainability within the built environment. With expertise in ISO 20400, she supports clients in embedding sustainable and responsible procurement practices, ensuring that procurement activities align with environmental and social goals while delivering measurable value. Through this integrated and strategic approach, Alison enables organisations to strengthen their procurement capability, enhance resilience, and build high-performing, future-ready supply chains.
