Craig Jones is an experienced technology and transformation executive with more than 25 years of leadership experience across enterprise ICT strategy, sourcing, service delivery and organisational change.
Throughout his career, Craig has directed complex technology portfolios spanning ERP, cloud services, CRM, telecommunications, infrastructure, managed services and enterprise applications. His work has involved navigating highly regulated, multi-vendor environments where technology performance, commercial discipline, operational resilience and stakeholder confidence are critical.
As Transformation Director, Craig led a significant ICT operating model and strategic sourcing transformation from initial business case through to commercial execution. The program resulted in a $35 million enterprise ICT services contract and delivered $11.8 million in savings against the organisation’s five-year forecast, while also improving service quality, governance and operational resilience.
Earlier in his career, Craig held progressively senior enterprise technology leadership roles, building extensive experience in supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, regional service delivery and the management of business-critical technology environments.
Today, as an ERA Group Principal Consultant specialising in Information Technology and Telecommunications, Craig applies an experienced operator’s perspective to help organisations identify where technology costs, contractual risks, and supplier inefficiencies may go unchallenged.
His areas of focus include cloud services, telecommunications, mobility, software licensing, managed services, infrastructure and technology supplier agreements. He works with CIOs, CFOs and procurement leaders to assess current arrangements, benchmark commercial terms, and strengthen their position during supplier negotiations and contract renewals.
