Nishit Dave (Mumbai, India) is one of the founding members of The Decode Group, a technology-first, consulting firm focused on business change and continuity. Much of his work involves bringing structure to situations that are messy, urgent, or difficult to neatly classify. Solutions include resolving special situations, cost reduction, providing interim management, facilitating financial restructuring, capital syndication, bankruptcy resolution under India's Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, platform to list/acquire businesses and other proprietary tools for buyers, sellers and navigators of business transactions.
He started his career as a Cost Reduction Lead at Cummins Inc (a Fortune 500 firm in the US), returned to India in 2014 to co-found Speedbox App (a B2B logistics SaaS platform - acquired in 2020) and has been building The Decode Group since then. With experience across India, the US, and Italy, Nishit brings a mix of operating experience, strategic thinking, and an "entrepreneurial-technology" orientation to the business exchange industry. He holds a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and an Executive MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology - Bombay and Washington University in St. Louis.
Nishit is the TMA Global Transaction of the Year Award Winner, 2023 for best global mid-size turnaround and transaction of the year pertaining to the bankruptcy resolution and sale of National Steel and Agro Industries Limited.
