POS Service Group reviews material costs and identifies €260,000 in savings potential
The POS Service Group comprises three business areas – POS Polsterservice GmbH, POS Homeservice GmbH and POS Schadenservice GmbH – which were founded in 1987. The company offers on-site repair and maintenance of upholstered seating furniture, room measurement planning using 3D laser technology, as well as assessment, repair and settlement in the event of insurance claims and damage.
The POS Group, headquartered in Hausen-Solscheid, currently employs more than 500 people in Germany, Benelux, Austria, Switzerland and Hungary, including over 300 service technicians. In order to improve its cost management, POS Managing Director Peter Horbach commissioned Folker Gussek from ERA Group to examine the areas of courier, express and parcel services (CEP), insurance, mail management, office supplies and telecommunications and to optimise the cost structure.
