Bogdan is Consultant at ERA Group Romania, bringing over 30 years of experience in manufacturing and executive management roles within multinational organizations.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and multiple professional certifications, including PMP, ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 2nd Party Auditor, as well as Six Sigma Green Belt.
EXPERIENCE
Throughout his career, Bogdan held senior roles such as Global Quality System Manager, Quality Manager and programme Manager in multinational manufacturing organizations including Tenneco, Federal-Mogul Motorparts and Honeywell.
He has hands-on experience across the full quality lifecycle - from greenfield plant setup and laboratory design to customer certification, global quality system standardisation and IATF, ISO 9001, CCC and Inmetro certifications.
His expertise spans operational excellence, quality management, Lean and Six Sigma implementation, continuous improvement programs and performance optimisation across complex automotive manufacturing environments.
DELIVERED PROJECTS
At Honeywell, Bogdan managed a production output of over 4 million turbochargers annually, coordinating a team of 40+ people across more than 200 product references and 59 customer contact points.
He contributed directly to the opening of two greenfield production sites in China and Romania - from designing and equipping QA laboratories to recruiting and training the team and obtaining all customer and certification body approvals.
As programme Manager at Honeywell, he managed 40+ new product launches in the Commercial Vehicle turbocharger business, serving major OEMs including Volvo, Scania, DAF, Paccar, Perkins, JCB and Caterpillar.
