Robert brings 30 years of senior operational and supply chain leadership to ERA's cost optimisation work, giving clients a consultant who understands how costs are built into a business, not just where they show up.
Before joining ERA, Robert spent three decades in senior supply chain and operations roles across the UK, France, the Netherlands, UAE, and wider EMEA. He has led complex, multi-site operations at director level, managing end-to-end supply chains, running transport and logistics networks, directing planning and procurement functions, and leading major ERP and operational change programmes.
That background spans global FMCG manufacturing, distribution, and regional subsidiary operations. At various points in his career, Robert has had direct accountability for supply chains turning over $400M annually, logistics cost bases in excess of $15M, and inventory portfolios valued at $20M, managing all of them through periods of significant growth, structural change, and external disruption including Brexit and COVID.
His technical depth covers demand and supply planning, S&OP, Lean manufacturing, production planning, logistics network design, and supplier management. He has led large cross-functional teams, driven multi-year cost reduction programmes, and delivered major integrations including brand acquisitions, ERP implementations, and subsidiary start-ups.
Robert brings that operational experience directly into ERA client engagements. He focuses on the categories closest to how businesses operate, including logistics, transport, supply chain, operational expenditure and Lean manufacturing, approaching every review with a practical eye on what is achievable, not just what looks good on paper.
He works with clients across manufacturing, FMCG, transport, and services, and leads project delivery end to end alongside ERA's specialist category network.
