ERA Group consolidates its activity in Catalonia with the addition of three new partners

ERA Group, a leading company in cost optimisation, has added Eva Linares, Marc Peelen, and Carlos Sánchez to its Barcelona office.

Eva Linares holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from New York University and an MBA from ESADE, and has over 25 years of international experience in the travel industry. For 10 years, she worked at multinational companies in the tourism sector (outbound and inbound travel agencies and tour operators), holding leadership positions in organisation, quality, sales, marketing, and project management. For the past 16 years, she has been the owner and General Manager of an innovative company that is a leader in the culinary and wine tourism sector in Spain, recognised as the “Best Experience Company” in Catalonia and a pioneer in the “Biosphere Responsible Tourism” certification.

For his part, Marc Peelen holds a degree in Economics from Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (Netherlands), an International MBA from IE Business School (Spain), and completed the Accelerated Development programme (ADP) at London Business School. Marc has over 25 years of experience in the financial sector. He has worked in investment banking managing large structured finance transactions, M&A, and IPOs for banks such as ABN AMRO, Bank of America, and Fortis in Europe, Asia-Pacific, and the United States. During his final tenure at ABN AMRO, he served as Managing Director in New York and was responsible for the business with Financial Institutions in North America. In addition, he has built his professional career in the finance departments of large companies, holding senior positions in corporate treasury, investor relations, and corporate development.

Finally, Carlos Sánchez holds a degree in Industrial Electronics Engineering and an MBA from ESADE, with over 20 years of experience in R&D and Operations at leading companies in their respective sectors. Over the last 12 years of his professional career, he has led various projects in roles such as Director of R&D, Director of Procurement, Director of Operations, and Managing Director at companies in the electrical/electronics and AgriFood sectors. In addition to possessing a high level of expertise in logistics and production, as an expert in industrial and commercial refrigeration, he has specialised in energy efficiency projects at food processing plants, temperature-controlled logistics hubs, and food retail chains through the implementation of solutions based on Industry 4.0 and IoT.

With these three latest hires, the company is committed to bringing in specialised professionals to continue offering a comprehensive service to companies, enabling them to optimise costs and increase business performance.
