Illuminating Opportunities in the Face of the "New World Disorder": ERA Group Highlights Monthly IMEF Session
Mexico City, May 27, 2026 - With a firm commitment to continue driving resilience and profitability in the corporate sector, ERA Group had the honour of participating as an official sponsor in the prestigious monthly luncheon of the Mexican Institute of Financial Executives (IMEF), the most important financial and business analysis forum in Mexico.
The event brought together prominent financial leaders and decision-makers in the country, consolidating a high-level space for the exchange of strategic ideas. Within this framework, we are proud to highlight the work of Sylvia Perales, Consulting Partner at ERA Group, who is celebrating over 10 years of uninterrupted service representing the firm within IMEF, forging relationships of trust and contributing invaluable value to the Mexican financial community.
The session's agenda was framed by a keynote conference from international analyst Brenda Estefan, who presented her lecture titled "The New World Disorder." During her speech, she addressed the challenges of global volatility, disruption in supply chains, and the geopolitical factors currently impacting the economy.
This macroeconomic context is of absolute relevance to ERA Group's clients. As the world becomes more complex and fast-paced, external pressures directly threaten corporate margins. It is precisely in these scenarios of uncertainty that the optimisation of operating expenses stops being an administrative task and becomes a vital strategy for financial shielding.
As a preamble to this masterclass presentation, Amando Méndez, Country Director of ERA Group in Mexico, took the stage to deliver the presentation "Illuminating Opportunities." Before a full room, Méndez explained the theory of the "Cost Iceberg," revealing how companies usually focus solely on direct costs, losing sight of a hidden base of indirect expenses (logistics, technology, telecommunications, energy, among others) that get diluted by day-to-day operational inertia.
"What is not seen, is not managed," highlighted the Country Director, emphasising how ERA Group functions as an analytical laser for organizations. Through the use of advanced analytics and the ultra-specialization of its global network, the firm helps financial directors detect microscopic inefficiencies and transform those hidden costs into cash flow directly to EBITDA.

The session also served to reinforce ERA Group's unique value model to the IMEF community: a Success Fee (No Win, No Fee) scheme, where the firm assumes the risk when auditing expenditure, guaranteeing that corporations can finance their innovation and growth with recovered capital, without impacting their budget or assuming commercial risks.
Our participation in IMEF reaffirms ERA Group's mission: to accompany companies in illuminating their best opportunities, demonstrating that, even in the midst of the greatest world disorder, operational efficiency is the safest path toward sustained growth.
