An interdisciplinary perspective on finance and sustainability
The conference examined how finance and sustainability had converged to define a new financial role. It analysed how CFOs had reconciled financial performance with environmental, social, and governance (ESG) objectives, and how they had adapted to dynamic regulatory frameworks. The application of digital tools and artificial intelligence to facilitate more informed and accountable decision-making was also scrutinised.
Drawing on the experience of industry experts, the session addressed strategies for managing risks from a sustainable perspective, optimising financial structures to create a positive impact, and fostering balanced growth in international markets. In addition, the discussion focused on how the CFO has established themselves as an agent of change, leading the transformation toward more sustainable models.
